U/2 Bike Racks

U/2™ Bike Racks are the standard in inverted U bike racks, and are recommended by the Association of Pedestrian and Bicyclists Professionals (APBP) and meet government standards for Class 3 short-term bicycle parking.

CycleSafe inverted U bike racks accommodate two bicycles per rack securing both the wheel and frame. This increased stability helps prevent colliding bikes and is safer for pedestrian traffic aisles. And the efficient design results in more bikes being parked in less space than “wave type” racks.

U/2 Racks by CycleSafe offer leading technology with heavy gauge 1-1/2″ Schd. 40 steel pipe coated with a 1/8” thick black rubberized coating which protects bikes from scratches or the rack from rust.

Polyester zinc primer TGIC powder coat finishes are available in Vintage, Modern, or Custom Racks electro-statically applied with a hard gloss finish; custom colors available upon request.
