May is National Bike Month, a month-long celebration of cycling coast-to-coast across the USA, sponsored by the League of American Bicyclists. Whether you bike to work or school or simply wish to explore your community, it’s a chance to showcase the many benefits of bicycling from money and time savings to healthier lifestyles and a healthier environment—and encourage more folks to giving biking a try. In fact, over 19.5 million people in America already commute by bike every day. Among those who don’t, nearly two-thirds say they would like to ride more often.

What typically follows is now a celebration of bikes; a reminder to get rolling again; and a gateway to riding more often, the momentum is building with growing cultural awareness around health and wellness, sustainability and economic savings.
